Renew Europe Document Leaked to the Media

Strasbourg 17/12/2024 - We have taken note of the leaked document from Renew Europe regarding the so-called “cordon sanitaire” imposed against patriotic and nationalist forces in the European Parliament. It is both remarkable and telling that Renew Europe, a group steadily losing relevance and voter support, dedicates itself to this undemocratic practice of exclusion instead of focusing on solving Europe’s real challenges.

The document, filled with desperate justifications, is yet another attempt to marginalize the voices of millions of Europeans who have chosen to support our growing movement. Patriots for Europe, now the third-largest group in the Parliament following unprecedented growth in votes and seats, represents the future of Europe—rooted in the defense of our industries, workers, borders, and the safety of our citizens.

In contrast, Renew Europe, the fifth-largest political force and one of the biggest losers in the last European elections, seems to believe that drafting such documents will help them escape their increasingly evident irrelevance. Europeans deserve better. They deserve representatives who prioritize their well-being over petty political maneuvers.

While they seek to boycott democratically elected forces, it is Renew Europe that is becoming increasingly marginalized and irrelevant. There is no need to cordon them off—the voters are already doing that.
