Přísaha (The Oath), founded in 2021 under Robert Šlachta’s leadership, is a citizen-focused movement fighting corruption and promoting law enforcement values in Czech politics. In its first 2021 parliamentary election, it narrowly missed the Chamber of Deputies with 4.68% of votes. The movement expanded in the 2022 municipal elections, securing 51 council seats. In 2024, through a coalition with Motorists for Themselves, it secured two European Parliament seats and Šlachta also won a Senate seat in Břeclav district. As a member of the Patriots for Europe group, its representative Nikola Bartůšek advocates for stronger law enforcement cooperation and institutional transparency.
