Chega
Founded in April 2019 by its leader André Ventura, in response to a perceived lack of political solutions to Portugal's social and political challenges, CHEGA saw him elected that same year as its sole Member of Parliament. In 2020, CHEGA expanded its representation to 12 Members of Parliament, and today it holds 50 out of 230 seats, having received 18.1% of the vote. CHEGA's key objectives include reforming the justice system, enhancing security, addressing immigration issues, improving healthcare, promoting the well-being of the Portuguese people, and opposing socialism and its promotion of "wokism." The Portuguese party CHEGA identifies itself as a national, conservative, liberal, and personalist party.
